My areas of specialty include insomnia and other sleep disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression, often with chronic pain or stress-related issues. I trained with Donn Posner, Ph.D., at Brown University's School of Medicine in an internship and subsequently in my post-doctoral training as well. I've taught psychology full time in a liberal arts setting for much of the last two decades, but recently expanded my private practice, when I left teaching last year. I'm trained in behavioral and in Cognitive-behavioral therapy for panic, phobias, GAD, OCD, and stress-related disorders, as well as mood disorders.
