Hilary Duvauchelle
As an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner, I look to understand and address the underlying factors affecting your health. My interest in treating root causes led me to pursue specialized CBT-I training through the UPenn's Sleep Medicine Program.
I view sleep as a linchpin in both mental and physical health. Sleep plays a critical role in regulating anxiety and panic, stabilizing mood, supporting people living with bipolar disorder, reducing vulnerability to psychosis, and navigating postpartum changes, chronic pain, and ongoing stress. Restorative sleep helps optimize how our brains and bodies function, allowing us to feel more emotionally balanced, mentally clear, and resilient.
Before completing my post-master's psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner training at Vanderbilt University, I trained as a family nurse practitioner and completed two years of functional medicine education allowing me to understand interconnected factors that influence sleep, mental health, and overall well-being.
I work with you to understand what's getting in the way of restorative sleep and develop an individualized, evidence-based approach using CBT-I. I'll meet you exactly where you are and work alongside you to help you reclaim restorative sleep.
Appointments: In-person in Portland, Oregon, and telehealth throughout Oregon.
Insurance accepted: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CareOregon, First Health Network, Kaiser, Moda, and PacificSource.
Credentialing pending: Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Medicare.
