Randy Nolte, Psy.D. New!
Hello. My name is Dr. Randy Nolte. I have been in practice for over 15 years now and I am obsessed with sleep - how to understand sleep issues, how to improve the quality of sleep, and how to enhance the way we feel during the day. Bad sleep can have a profound impact on so many things, including our mood and anxiety, relationships, outlook on life, and productivity. Many of my clients are wanting to improve the quality of their sleep and improve the quality of their time spent awake. I have found CBT-I to be an essential part of this process.I earned a degree in Psychology (B.A.) from The George Washington University before conducting research on anxiety at The George Washington University Hospital. I earned a Master’s of Counseling Psychology (M.A.) from New York University and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.M.) from The George Washington University in order to work clinically with patients. In order to deepen my work and improve my clinical skills, I went on to complete a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University’s Professional Psychology program, which was fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Finally, I completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine.
