Dr. Shapree Summerville is a licensed clinical psychologist in Ohio and the owner of Dreamwell Therapy and Consulting, a telehealth practice specializing in evidence-based treatment for insomnia, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Her work focuses on helping adults address chronic sleep difficulties and related patterns that disrupt overall well-being and daily functioning. She completed her academic training at the University of Cincinnati, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a Master of Social Work, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Summerville went on to complete both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she provided care to veterans with a wide range of medical and mental health concerns.
Dr. Summerville later joined the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she received specialized training and certification in CBT-I through the VA’s national rollout initiative.
